Exalting the geology of the natural surroundings is one of the great responsibilities of designing in one of the greatest Brazilian cities. Rio de Janeiro stands out as a great hub of innovation, history, art and culture and stands as a main element of the visual landscape around the world.
Paying homage to this movement, the concept developed for the FORMA project, located in the Leblon neighborhood, was to seek the identity and memory of the effervescent social fabric of Rio de Janeiro. Just like CANTO , a project located between Arpoador beach and Copacabana, based on a pre-existing structure that, reformulated into two towers, highlights the poetics of the concept by presenting two architectural proposals for different towers that coexist in perfect harmony.

FORMA Leblon , which is in the final stages of construction and is scheduled for delivery in April 2024 , has its main design inspiration in its land, as we discover the importance of the location for the social formation of the “being of Rio”, previously inhabited by “Plataforma”, a meeting point for Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes and other great names in Brazilian music.
Musicality is also evoked, and terraces, partitions and vertical elements in rhythmic juxtaposition compose a one-note samba on the front and back facades. An in-depth study of the relationship between musical scores and their materialization in architecture. The harmony of the FORMA project, which echoes between architecture and urbanism, expresses the naturalist and sensual beauty of the city, emerging as a manifesto that celebrates the history and nature of Rio .
The materialization of musicality on its facade, building rhythmic vertical elements that compose a one-note samba.
The building is like an urban rock, with stones and blocks cut into the side gables, creating an intentional dialogue with the living environment and the sedimented terrain. The interior design, under the aegis of being from Rio, expresses style, movement and nature in every detail .
Within its common areas and residential units, the organic lines in the furniture, carpets and other items are evident, in contrast to the rectilinear architectural design; revealing points of earthy, bluish and greenish colors seen on the horizon and articulated through decorative objects, the tropical landscaping and the use of materials that evoke their natural state, with rustic and true textures.
Between the tangible and the intangible, the essence of the marvelous city connects the details of the entire structure of the processes conceived for this construction. In addition to moving harmoniously between art and technique , supporting columns of what we truly believe as a concept and delivery.
