The creation of Origem Fortim arises from the abundance of distinct and raw elements found on the beach of Fortim, in Ceará, such as sand, sea water, rocks, sparse vegetation, and others. These elements provided the inspiration for the Fortim project.

Through integration with the landscape, it became possible to articulate our philosophy of fluid dialogue with nature, respect for fauna and flora, emphasis on environmental quality, and the interpretation of dialectical opposites such as nature and the urban; organic and mineral; simple and sophisticated, to develop the architecture of the development.

Our conceptual approach proposes an architecture that is detached from the land, respecting the existing nature and the natural flow of sand beneath the structures of the houses, minimizing the environmental impact of the development while honoring its original flow.

The layout followed principles of the Voronoi model, found in the structures of leaves, skin, beehives, etc., defining equidistant houses and allowing polygonal-shaped lots that align with the natural structure of the elements. We also placed dense vegetation between the houses, ensuring privacy for each unit.

The project is designed to take advantage of natural ventilation and sunlight, using natural materials and vegetation to provide simple yet sophisticated shelters in every detail, with minimal intervention in the area.

By leveraging local singularities with environmental responsibility and global aspirations for a beachside community, we created a complete and sustainable development.
